Every single solo song JK’s came out with and every cover he’s done, have been everything so I’m definitely really anticipating his mixtape. His voice is so versatile and he can pull off so many different styles well, but I’m hoping he gives us at least one rnb bop like my time again. I’m also looking forward to Hobi because I love his flow and Hope World was a no skip. But I’ll be listening to all of their mixtapes either way so I look forward to them in general.
jk and yoongi
Obviously Hoseok for many many reasons. He is always experimenting and pushing his horizons, mixes hella lot of genres in one song and trying new flows, tbh I don't even know what to expect from his new mixtape considering that he said that he aims for smth more mature. And I also hope to hear at least one song from those he called too complicated for public to hear.
New mixtape from RM might be interesting cause he still loves trying different things, but probably it will be still smth close to Mono and not anything from his old days.
Yoongi. Ugh, how to say it. Observing his music it seems that he kinda came down to few types of sounds and use only them all the time, basically he just sticks to specific sound which is profitable for him. It's a nice sound, in a separate song it sounds really good but 1) his upcoming mixtape will most probably bring nothing new (like D2 was basically Agust D but softer) and 2) to listen to whole album of sounds which you already familiar with and have heard many times before is not really exciting. Still will be an album of nice quality tho.
Tae's mixtape is very very predictable too so far, all his music is very similar. Maybe somebody will make for him something as good as Singularity.
Kook. Well, one thing I can tell for sure is that if he really got rid of all songs prepared for mixtape then god bless him cause if Stay was anything to judge his mixtape for then he is fcked. His songs have always been quite poor quality but Stay is just down bad and so so bland, jeez, his name attached to it didn't help even fandom to get any excited about this song and mayhaps it was his wake up call to redo his staff. The other thing is that bighit might push his solo career and thus instead of typical mixtape rapline did golden boy will get a proper album with producers making songs with him and deciding all staff especially for title so they might make for him smth like Euphoria.
Jimin. Tbh so far I don't even know what to discuss regarding him making a whole mixtape of many songs by himself. The other thing is push from bighit with album, here is same case as for Kook.
Jin can get a mixtape full of ballads, but for me personally it's not exciting at all to listen to whole album of such. Honestly speaking I don't even think that Jin has any serious plans about doing any mixtape full of many songs by himself but who knows, maybe he'll do mixtape of trot songs.
