I don't think that would stop him from being a leader though. There are theories on how people who like to be alone let's say can be good leaders for people who are pro active themselves.

Imo since he hasn't been put in a situation like this he hasn't displayed those qualities simply because he doesn't need to.

Well yes there would be a difference. Both would have different styles altogether.

I don't really disagree, it's hard to imagine BTS without RM being the leader considering how much influence he has and his responsibilities.

But It's also how it's always been and since we get so used to status quo it becomes difficult to think how it would've been otherwise and the current situation looks ideal.

I cant imagine anyone else and it would be hobi before anyone else
