Since the war in the Ukraine, all stores are ran out of cooking oil in Germany. The only options you still have is to buy overpriced linseed oil or olive oil and maybe even that fance "cooking oil" that tastes like butter. Rapeseed oil and sunflower oil are empty in all stores.
This is only cause of the war in the Ukraine, since the most rapeseeds and sunflowerseeds for cooking oil are from East Europe, mainly Ukraine.
There is also a shortage on some other items from the Ukraine right now, but it's mostly the rapeseed and sunflower oil
