I hate pretty privilege in kpop

    They just look pretty and gain such a big Korean fanbase. Most of them look so boring and have no stage presence but still get praised so much (except a few kpop visuals).

    That's not only so in the Kpop world so. The thing is that the first Impression of a Person is always the Visual of the person.

    In 4th gen only those idols are famous who hold visual positions in their group. Kpop has become a beauty pageant now a days.

    There are some idols who perform really well despite being a visual member theyre really talented but some are only popular for visuals.

    Kpop has always been about visuals.If some groups don't have their visuals they wouldn't become popular in the first place.

    They’re talking about that girl from Nmixx who i personally don’t find pretty she’s ok but people are overhyping so much

    If it's that girl from NMIXX who can both sing and dance live, then you're probably an NMIXX hater and a stan of that group that is dead as a whole on stage because of lipsyncing.


    Other than that, then that group is probably what OP is talking about.

    Name a 4th gen member who's popular for something else beside visual?

    Niki,heeseung,lily,yeonjun,chan,chaeyeon,soyeon,maybe yeji and ryujin too as they are known for their dancing skills and stage presence although they are visuals too.

    True I don't disagree there's a reason V is their most popular member.

    These names u mentioned they aren't even famous. I'm talking about famous members, the most talked about members. No one talks about txt and enhypen member outside the fandom and yuna is the most popular itzy member in korea. Read my post again.

    There's pretty privilege in every ambit of life not only k-pop.
