It's past midnight during the weekend. People are sleeping or they have other things to do.

At some point, there just isn't much to talk about. If you can't think of what threads to make or participate in, imagine how everyone else feels.

Even hit threads have a limit. The discussion slows down when everything that could be said has already been said.

That's just how it is. No need to force it. The flow of discussion will naturally take off again when there's something that actually happens in K-pop. Now it's just about who got COVID-19 and who recovered.

cause everyone wanna hear only positive opinions and there's not enough interesting positive discussions to have so there's not enough traction

Big groups like BTS, Twice, BP, NCT, 17, Itzy, Aespa, etc seemingly all keeping quiet right now. No comebacks or news for em going on so most fans of these groups are keeping low key atm.

Stray Kids coming back soon so probably see a small revival upon release.

It's the same users being either a troll/passive aggressive/dumb on purpose. Hard to have discussion without people getting triggered. The sane one usually hides in guild or just keep on their own fandom threads instead of getting/seeing their faves being dragged.

everyone is being fake friendly to each other and the moment you say something controversial, people will come and call you trolls so it gets tiring and discourages real discussion i guess?

it’s sometimes weird in the main. i was able to log-in yesterday but i saw a jealous fan. i dunno 🤷‍♀️ it was weird.

it was fine and all since everyone is entitled to their opinion. it got toxic because the way the op respond and the use of curse words. i am no saint but i would much rather abstain from reading profanities.

I will just continue discussions in our guild sans the main per usual.

No drama, no big controversies, no big comebacks, and people attacking you as soon as they see your guildname, badges and sig and decide they don't like the groups and idols in them, so they'll shade any opinion you have as being completely biased. And if they're 1 of the big fandoms, they'll have their guildies join the online bullying they started.

So yeah, the fake friendliness hides the mean toxicity if you're not part of the big guilds and dare to post something that they disapprove.

Been dead for a while. Trolls and the most opinionated users have turned soft and either block people or cry about bullying when someone so much as touches their comments. If someone doesn't agree with them, it's a crime. These same users have had their share of getting angry at threads or other people's opinions themselves, so it's quite funny.
