Twice, Once a day #11 - "Behind The Mask"

Great song! Not one of my absolute favorites, but really good. I love the power they bring to it, while still being emotional and heartfelt.

Okay, I forgot how this song sounds like. People praise Eyes Wide Open discography a lot but some songs just blend together that I struggled to differentiate one song from another

The lyrics are written by Heize. And the song is composed, in part, by Dua Lipa.

A lot of people seem to think this song is about the pandemic, but I think it's deeper than that.

I think it's about hiding behind emotional masks. About not showing our true feelings or thoughts. Even about hiding behind the anonymity of the internet.

So the lyrics are trying to express that we should pierce through that and see each other for what we really are, and how we really feel. Because only in truly being genuine and confronting our true selves, can we be connected.

It's a good song, but not my favorite song off of Eyes Wide Open. I give an 8.

It's an 8. This is the song that was meant to close the album, and when taken in that context it sounds appropriately like an epilogue.

For some reason, I think this one is interesting since it doesn't really feel like Twice. Is that weird? It's not a song that most people would think that but it's just something I think.

I really like it, I think it's sort of special and a good album closer. Not my favorite out of the album for sure, but still good to me.
