How ZE:A as a group was a flop when they have pretty popular members?

    They have Kwang Hee that appears to a lot of tv shows to the fact that I know him first some other popular groups. Not to mention that Siwan and Hyungsik doing pretty good in acting field and quite popular too. But, with a lot of members that pretty visible to the public, why the group itself is never heard at all when it should boost the group's popularity like how Cha Eunwoo doing? It is just weird how many people knowing them and not their group.

    Because people just knew the members. When SF9 were on Kingdom they talked about having a similar issue... they said that a lot of people recognize them from acting or modeling, but didn't know they were even in an idol group.


    idk about other groups though, but Cha Eunwoo works his ass off to promote Astro and will name group the group at every chance he gets. He's never just Cha Eunwoo, but always Astro's Cha Eunwoo.

    Like I said idk about other groups, but I also feel like Fantagio has always centered Astro around Eunwoo. He's always seen and heard and he does try to make as many performance schedules as possible. I'm only sort of familiar with SF9 and idk how popular Rowoon is, but he's definitely the highest profile member on the acting side but I just don't see a ton of him in their MVs (though they are a bigger group so that could just be a side effect of that.)

    idk about others but i only got to know of them after i discovered some of their careers as actors.

    I didn't know Hyunsik was even an idol group member until I watched one of those worst kpop companies videos and the group company was featured. Like I was a huge fan of his for years and had no idea he was an idol lol
