Even as a fan I'm
lookingwaiting patiently for proof of the ~700K in sales.-So according to Hanteo they sold 567,775 copies in February. The past 2 days they sold 193 and 3877 copies respectively.
[Monthly Physical Album Chart: February] TREASURE’s ‘THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE: The 1st Mini Album, PHOTOBOOK VER.’ Places 1stHanteo Chart released the Monthly Physical Album Chart of February. According to Hanteo Chart’s data, TREASURE’s ‘THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE: The 1st Mini…www.hanteonews.comEdit: The article above is only for sales of the photobook version and not the KiT version. I'm still confused about how Hanteo is counting the digipacks.
The Gaon number is a little lower than the Hanteo number for February: 504,.035 copies.
-According to Wikipedia, they sold 14,205 in Japan. idk how to look up Oricon numbers.
So adding up the Hanteo numbers and Japanese sales: 586,050 copies. That means >113,950 orders are still in process. YG, are you still printing albums to meet orders?
Note: U.S. sales should equal to at least 140K to be 20% of 700K.
Hanteo reported the rank of album authentication by country thus far:

Also to note: I am also a U.S. buyer and I have not received my album yet, therefore my purchase has not been Hanteo authenticated yet.

Gaon hasn't released the numbers for february yet, so you can't tell. And in theory, the Gaon number will be always higher than the Hanteo one. Where did you see that number because the monthly official update isn't out yet (check the Gaon website).

Yes they have. Just toggle from weekly retail to monthly retail on the horizontal menu above the chart.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either why the Gaon numbers are lower.
Retail Album Chart isn't the same thing I think

Yeah but what's the difference actually? lmao

Using Google Translate the Retail Chart is only for offline sales. Album Chart is total shipments.
QuoteRanking: Offline album (Tape, LP, CD, USB, Kit, META, etc.) Cumulatively aggregated by retail store sales
QuoteRanking : Album (Tape, LP, CD, USB, Kit, META, etc.) Counted by shipment (-return volume)
I guess we're still waiting for Gaon results after all.

Yes, you were correct since the chart I referred to in my first post was only for offline sales!

If these charts are easy to chart in and so irrelevant then how come not every kpop group is in this?
they aren't, but many kpop groups chart there, its not a unreacheable chart, even treasure themselves charted there with other song
the hardest one to enter is hot100 follow by bb200
but its not a chart yg talk about bc its about PHYSICAL sells

To not enter the chart they have already entered before, they would have to be bigger flops than they already are. They did well after their long hiatus.
