How have you not seen anything like this before? Several MV's have day 1 ads. Hot Sauce, Fancy, Yes or Yes, Savage, Next Level, etc.
JYPE has changed recently that for Twice and Itzy(maybe Stray Kids) they no longer run single first day ad's anymore, instead running about 10 days to 2 weeks of ads starting day two.
O.O is how JYPE used to run ads for Twice(until Feel Special when they dropped day 1 ads) they would do about 10 hours of 0 ads and than have the rest of the day have a big ad campaign. Where someone like SM for example run ad's all day on day 1 so that's why we see a strange view pattern with JYP, low/regular initial views that suddenly explode out of no where, where other companies tend to just run em from the start so it's consistently massive views and a sudden drop off in the next days when the ads stop.

stay here, just a tiny correction:
Stray Kids didn't get ads on the first day in the first place. (To my knowledge no jyp act did before either, but I could be wrong) For Thunderous, they only got 2 days of ads.

Oh kay thanks. I can 100% say Twice had ads on day 1 up until Feel Special and haven't had them since. I think the first MV they had them for was Likey but didn't actually run them again until DTNA(?) So they had d1 ads for at least Fancy, YOY, DTNA and Likey for certain.

I mean on D1 BM got 21.4 million views, but on the YT weekly chart that counted BM D1, D2 and D3 views they only have 13.9 million views for 3 whole days.

Stop the victim mentality. The only reason SM group get shit for it over JYPE group stans is SM stans pretend their faves don't use ads.
Literally that tweet from a MY using 'organic' is just another example of the en masse denial SM group stans are in when it comes to Youtube ad's where the vast majority of other groups who use ads barely, if at all, deny it.

Is it just me that get the gist that the twit above didn't deny ads?

Actually i just look up threads about aespa ads here and from briefly scrolling from what i see mys are just joking about it and wondering why it's a problem, but in threads with +5 pages you'll see more non-mys arguing with each other.

they do use ads but I have a feeling many people did watch it but ended up not liking the song.
I mean even the YT comment section is filled criticism on how they disliked it and wished the girls had debuted with a better song. Never have I ever seen such a thing under a kpop mv.
If only YT showed the dislike count as well, we could prove something
