  • Thank you for sharing this. I knew about 'Persona' because I have studied Carl Jung's psychology a little and 'The Last' because I searched alot of his mixtape.

I didn't know RM referenced Murakami in 'sea'. His work is exemplary. I have read his 3 books. Not 1Q84 though. I know it is his most popular work but I have been slacking on reading for last 4 years.

I just hope their next album has me dropping braincells :froghype:

ARMYs love losing their braincells thinking about BTS works.

You know what MOTS7 was my first comeback. I had been through their whole history because they took a really long break after 'Persona' so it was easy for me to go through their stuff and I was getting blown away with their artistry as I explored them more. But you know what was the last nail on the coffin? It was that 'Shadow' release. The number of references in that one song, that music video are too much for any normal artist. Then they released 'Black Swan' and it just showed and told me that BTS are in different league amongst musicians. I can talk about MOTS7 alot but I don't because I always feel I ain't gonna do it any justice and I end up missing few points here and there. But that era is just beautiful. Anyways those 10 days just made sure that I am gonna be ARMY for life.

  • Great thread Jasmine.. way better than Still with You VS Stay Alive :p :P

I always love books, have read some of the books connected to BTS.. like 1Q84.. still have the book somewhere coz I went thru a phase of Murakami few years back (before BTS). His writing style was engrossing but his stories were weird and disturbing to me. Which I liked at the time.

Come to think about it, now I rarely read books (after BTS). I’m on this damn forum all the time lol. Thinking about using audio books, though. I enjoy listening to podcasts while doing physical work (house chores, gardening etc), so maybe audio books is the way to go now? Anyone used audio books before?
