Yes, you get blacklisted by Mnet and yes they hold a lot of power in the industry, but not all of it. I’d just find another company to be a trainee under and try to debut in the traditional way. My future company can sort out the beef between me and Mnet, not me. Most companies are some degree of messed up anyway, so there’s my petty revenge on them. Have a great day/night!

True, I didn’t consider that possibility. That would be awful. If it was the big three or HYBE though, bring it on, they could use some humbling hardships.

I would feel incredibly guilty in both situations. However, as another user pointed out, I’m probably stuck in the group due to contracts and my group is still depending on me, so here’s what I would do: mention the rigged out people incessantly in a highly positive light and comment on how I wish they were in a group too. Let’s face it: Mnet would hate hearing stuff like that non-stop, so they would have to take some sort of action against me. People from other entertainment companies (JYP, to name one example) aren’t allowed to so directly talk about former members without getting into trouble and while it’s not exactly the same, I think it’s close enough in this case. I’d then keep on doing and doing it until they kicked me out for it. After all, my goal here is not to avoid getting in trouble, it’s to deliberately seek it out.
Once I got kicked out (hopefully), I would first sincerely apologize to my group mates, but explain that the incessant guilt weighing on me was too much and it was better this was. I’m sure they’ll miss me, but they’ll move on eventually, especially if I get removed quickly. Same goes for my fans. Since I kicked out and am no longer bound by a contract, I could explain why I left to them so no rumors spread, but would emphasize that it was hard, both to paint myself in a better light and so they don’t get mad at any of my group mates who don’t do the plan with me and stay. The group may or may not get a new member, it honestly depends on the company and what they want to do.
After I did all that, I would find the rigged out people and apologize to them for not being closer to them (if that was the case) and explain in detail how guilty I felt about how awful they were treated. Hopefully they’d realize I support none of this and it wasn’t my choice to be rigged in. We’d then hopefully grow close to one another and I’d help them apply to other companies to make up if they want me to. What do you think? Do you think my plan would work or not?
