True, their music is actually really great. Their entire discography is a no skip for me. Only kpop group where I can say that.

I mean it’s undeniable they’re the most recognized korean gg at the moment so does it really matter at the end of the day if people know them for their music or not? I doubt Virginie Viard actually knows their music despite inviting them to her Chanel shows all the time.

The lifespan of girlgroups are relatively short so it’s nothing bad focusing on other areas of the entertainment industry to make money and be more recognized. Haters literally use this against BP to make their faves seem more relevant yet aren’t known in their hometown or can’t even book a stage in Korea.

I think people forget the amount of records being broken left and right with BP's songs...they were famous for their music before they were for their modeling.
