stays are the most well balanced 4th gen fandom

    I am not a stay and my opinion is based on seeing their results as an outsider.


    stays are incredible at voting - they even manage to make armys sweat and as we know, up until today it's very hard to compete against them

    stays are great at sales - skz has 1M pure sales already, it's incredible

    stays are good at streaming, both on youtube and spotify - it's a rarity, usually groups are either strong on youtube or on spotify yet stays made the perfect balance


    I don't know how well they chart domestically but tbf no 4th gen bg charts well either way. If stays keep doing so well then I see stray kids along one of the top groups in the near years

    I think the secret is just that we really love Stray Kids' music. I don't see stays organising anywhere as many Spotify streaming projects as other 4th gen bg fandoms, let alone participate in them. Streaming their songs comes naturally.


    As for their Youtube streams, that thoroughly surprise me too sometimes? God's Menu and Back Door which are from 2020 were the 2nd and 3rd most streamed 4th gen bg MVs in 2021, only behind SKZ's own Thunderous…

    Not exactly great but not terrible either. But as you say no 4th gen bg charts really well so with that in mind it's not bad. Fortunately their domestic charting is constantly improving, it was good enough to allow them getting 6 wins for Thunderous, including an inkigayo win.


    I'm proud of the fandom for coming so far too, when I joined the fandom would just constantly joke about not being good at all of these things rather than striving to improve, then something shifted after Clé: Levanter.

    Of course there's still a lot of room for improvement. For instance, there's too many stays on Instagram who hardly ever know what's happening and aren't very useful for voting or streaming. Gladly, that seems to be improving too…

    Wow all of that is truly incredible!! It must feel great being part of such fandom. I see all the hate stays get but that's only telling you that people are threatened and insecure.


    As a fan of another 4th gen bg,I really enjoy meeting stays in competitions because those are fun and enjoyable,I haven't seen stays act bad towards their opponents which is admirable

    This is a phenomenon I noticed a while ago. When they blew up, they didn't blew up just to be one of the biggest physical sellers, but to be one the second biggest korean boygroup on Youtube and on Spotify, to have one of the best social media engagement and voting's performance, everything around the same time. Even their domestic charting has been improving each comeback.


    I would say they really built a very strong and passionate fandom that puts them as priority.

    I'm not a stay but put aside the competitive circumstance on that 4th gen thingy war, I admit they're great.

    I noticed that when kingdom era started. People throw the rigged and priviledge tantrum at them after their win, but if they observed closely.. stays have neat and structured fanbases, they arranged their strategies meticulously and calculated it carefully. Their teamworks were no joke.

    That time when their opponent was big fandoms, it blows my mind they didn't ask for help from other fandom but instead they build alliance with marvel fans with such a creative promotion. It was so epic tho lol

    Also something about skz and stay's bound is admirable. Like, skz held giveaway event as a gift for the support stay put on kingdom and they plan a week full of events just to celebrate their fandom's birthday.. I mean, seriously? I'm so envy, @. my bias group... when? 😭

    And salute to their leader, chan.. I found his chan's room compilation and I can understand where they got such strong boundary. He's such inspirative and genuine man. I lowkey love him behind my bias back lol

    I guess that's all, I just wanna say my untold admiration ^^

    I found some people titled stay as the most toxic 4th gen bg fandom, even my fandom have weekly/monthly beef with them but I believe every fandom has 'soft' side if we ignore the competitive and unnecessary toxic fanwars
