Who do you think got pushed but didn't end up blowing up or got overshadowed by another member?

I think the most popular remembers are always those who are pushed a lot by the company except a few.

Yeonjun?

I think company plays a big role in deciding which member will be the most famous. I've never seen a pushed member not being the most famous one. A few are exceptions.

Jisoo and pushed, good joke. Jisoo literally gets nothing from that company. The biggest push she got was in pre debut only with few cfs and cameos. If anyone who was pushed in bp its Jennie until 2018.

Winter was always the pushed one since debut, SM likes to create a narrative and "play off" the girls. Watch in 2 years the narrative switch again, to be pro-Karina. That was them w Sulli/Krystal.

JYP: Min (Miss A) by obviously Suzy, Suzy was promoted a lot too, but I think JYP saw that she was in danger of being the only popular one and tried Min too but it didn't work

SM: Irene (RV) by Joy but SM likes to pit the girls against each other and play off of whom gives more money, same with Taeyeon (SNSD) and Yoona, and Karina (Aespa) vs Winter

Also Renjun/Jisung (a lot of the dreamies tbh)

Cube: Yuqi (G-idle) at debut and Soojin vs Soyeon. At debut the left two were way more liked, especially Soojin gained more popularity later on and was a fan favorite. But Soyeon was more promoted. Then the company promoted Miyeon.

Hwall from the Boyz blew up despite that being because of his mistreatment.

Taeyong but he didn't get overshadowed by another member though
