Hmmm. As a lesbian, I don't find telling a lgbt story through an mv particularly offensive though if the intention is to give rep or support and group members are fine with it. It gives those poor Korean babygays something to relate to on screen - my heart goes out to them who get absolutely nothing ever. However, calling it a concept is definitely offensive. The company has screwed up majorly. Sexuality isn't a concept and makes it sound like there is no good intentions at all.

In a twisted way, kpop does this a lot and it is ...almost.... refreshing to see it actually being admitted/said aloud?? I feel like a lot of companies try really hard to push a lgbt angle in some mvs and it is brushed under the carpet and never spoken about. It's like a silent rule or something. The whole "you can act gay but not REALLY be gay" thing in Korea is so irritating. When will they move forward? Sigh.

Tell me how are they helping the community by doing an "lgbtq+ concept" unless one of the members is gay and they're willing to accept her I don't see how they're doing justice to the community, using the lgbtq+ concept is just disrespectful, also there is this group called 4L who did the exact same concept few years ago
