    I know there's a lot of concern about older men dating younger women in society that a lot of people here care for. On that token, there seems to be an increase in white-male fetishization/worship from asian women in the younger generations. It's all over TikTok especially. I know we all care about society going forward so I'm sure a lot would be concerned about trends that play into white supremacy, especially for younger people.

    I don't have tiktok. I just looked it up because on other sites there's more extreme communities with female identifying asians going on about wanting to be colonized by white men and similar sentiments. So I'm posting it as an example. Like even in the age of BTS this kind of fetishization of white men by young asian women is so pervasive.

    Obviously this isn't the majority but there's enough to stand out, and like in the example I cited in the OP, even a few cases of older men dating younger women would concern people here. Due to the imbalance of power. And this is another situation of power imbalance

    As for what I think, it's really as simple as this:

    1. Having interracial references while loving your own cultural identity and people? Perfectly fine.

    2. Having interracial preferences while harboring self-hate and putting down your own ethnic/racial community? Not okay.


    There's a fine line between those two, and I would just hope the latter (#2) group learn to appreciate and embrace their heritage. Anyone who dates interracially should know not to take any microaggressions from their partner. Be cautious of the red flags.


    Ultimately, people are people and love is love.
