Is there a chance we could see 30% of Kpop idols be non-asian in 10 years?
Could KPOP be very diverse in 5th gen?

30%...
I think we could see more non-asian idols, but I doubt it would be that high..

i don't think so.
let's just use the foreign idols as examples. they still face racism/xenophobia despite being asians. now imagine the situation for non-asians.
mixed-race idols are also good examples to think about. if they're not undeniably gorgeous or according to K-aesthetics, they're gonna suffer from some bad comments (even Vernon himself had to deal with racist remarks in his early idol days, for example, they were the minority, for sure, but the problem is real!).

Maybe like 5%. Companies like SM and HYBE are expanding in America specifically so I'd hope to see more diversity. However that's just two companies, we've seen that even when companies promise a "global group" they end up with only 1 or 2 foreign members. It's really dependent on how profitable Kpop is globally because depending on how diverse a group is they may not find success in Korea and need to rely on the other market.
