The whole promotion cycle, with 5-10 MV's was solid and thorough in a way that's hardly seen for sub-units and solo member comebacks as well.

Nothing of the past few years that came close in similarity.

For gen 4 groups obviously, Irene and Seulgi was a pretty successful sub unit with such a simple formula. Get your two best dancers from the group, give them an intricate choreography with a dark concept. Example of a pair I can see doing this is possible Yeji and Ryujin from Itzy. I'd love to see some more high quality dance performances, where idols, choreographers and producers flex their talents on their highest level.

This'd be great because it'd mean we'd have a lot of extra comebacks that are creative, impressive, different and inspiring, I'd drink to that :)

I was going to use the same example. All of Sistar19 songs are like national hits lol

I don't know how to put this, but I think subunits are better if the members have great chemistry among them. Doesn't necessarily need the best dancers, a great stage presence and a great vocalist can make a good pair.
