WTF!??? My most played song was 76 times, 2k is like A LOT.
It sounds like a lot, but it really depends on how much you use the platform. Before I moved I had two hours of drive time a day in my work commute and could easily listen to something 2k times in a year. When I was in college, it was nothing to listen to my iPod for 8-10 hours straight.
My most played song on Spotify this year had 19 plays because I only play it for like an hour and a half at the laundromat every two weeks, but if they checked my YouTube plays it would probably be in the 1k range at least.
