Everything is slowly getting better in our country. Most people are vaccinated.
How is covid 4th wave in your country?

my condolences, my grandpa passed away 4 years ago so i know how awful it feels. just want to say that it does get better over time

5th wave but I don't really care anymore.
The vaccines don't seem to be effective after 6 months and the virus will stay.
We have to live with this virus.
Yeah, I feel like that too... I don't think it'll just 'go away' with the vaccination, it's showing now...

In Australia it's finally improving. We are up to 90% fully vaccinated and lockdowns and restrictions have eased. In my state, masks are off outdoors and in a month it will be indoors. We've had eighteen months of pain but it is finally looking up. We are even opening up to overseas travel soon.

In France, 65+ year old people have to take the vaccine booster if they want to go to restaurant, cinema, etc...

It's super bad here in my tiny 5 milion stupid country called Slovakia ...our vaccination rate is around 43% and it's showing ....around 7000 new cases everyday...some hospitals are close to collapse
The last lock down was super strict (we could't go out at night and couldn't meet anybody besides people living in the same household) and almost 6 months long and look at this now
I'm vaccinated so the restrictions are not as harsh for me yet but still ugh
and now it seems my genius of father infected my grandparents as he was going to their house although he was already sick (it's just a cold he said ...smh)

We don't really have a 4th way. Less than a thousand new cases per day. A little higher than it was during the summer (people going back to school and work probably plays a part) but much, much lower than it was this spring-atumm last year. Over 2/3 of the whole population are fully vaccinated for reference.
-
lot of ppl are vaccinated but there are a lot new cases every day
off topic but your hualian pfp is really pretty
The thing is, our hospitalisation rate is below the 7 day moving average. So, at least some good news

Are People averse to the vax or lack of vaxx available?

Are People averse to the vax or lack of vaxx available?
Averse
we're in EU so there isn't any problem with availability at the moment ...we could even choose which vaccine we want out of 5 options.... smh
There're plenty of reasons why it is like that here tho but that would be a long ass essay haha
The core problem is that our goverment messed up big time and people are being dumb
