Just realized that if Japan keeps pumping out these jkpop groups either on their own behalf or Korea’s and they’re actually successful since they’re permanent, Korean groups are going to be having a harder time breaking into the Japanese market in the next five years especially if the groups don’t have Japanese members since Japanese kpop fans expect them in almost every new kpop group lol
INI not being from J&A and selling half a million is where this change is going to start. Japanese kpop fans are going to turn more towards these domestic koreanized groups were they might actually become the standard with J&A losing influence making it harder for Korean groups to compete since the skill gap won’t be as wide as your average jpop idol group not under a strong Korean influence.
