Iam confused , why are yall doing this to aespa

    This been on my mind lately but i feel it's weird to say it out loud but i got to tbh .. why yall downplay every aespa achievement !!

    I know it sounds like iam exaggerating cuz aespa appreciation posts are everywhere but thats MYs hype only i think the rest of kpop had an agreement to downplay aespa's talents and records ! The girls broke multiple records at first yall hyped I can't deny black mamba era all kpop was kind to aespa but when they made even bigger impact and started to compete with top tier groups yall acted like its causal when its almost impossible and never done before for a rookie to get stats like that ! Not just that you also downplay the talents when yall know damn well these girls are beast level vocals yet you try to act like they are nothing special ! Its ok to stan your idols but don't discredit aespa cuz you fear the competition , show the girls some respect cuz any other rookie with half of these numbers would be hyped like gods !

    its not an obligation among kpop stans to post about every achievement a kpop group makes, as long as its acknowledged when brought up, and not hated on- i see no issue.

    Aespa has kicked everyone's ass this year not named IU. Seriously. They have not been fooling around at all. Next Level has destroyed every other act and song released this year except Celebrity by IU. It's STILL charting 6th on Melon and is on course to tie the alltime longevity record for Korean songs on Melon's Top 10 (the record is 29 weeks, NL will soon have 24 weeks).

    Savage is also holding very strong so far, while IU's new song continues to bleed ULs, Savage has remained very steady. The margin between Strawberry and Savage was over 300k at one point, now Savage is within 90K

    Yeah, I see this a lot. Every other hit is bigger than Next Level, variety show rating became a drag, it's annoying af. Even for big3/4 isn't easy to dominate the year as a rookie, even more when aespa concept and music is experimental.

    Aespa is really a top group and i don't see them stopping any time soon. Girls came to conquer!

    About kpop fans not "appreciating": it's ok though. What it isn't ok is the hate and shade where some tend to do with Aespa.. but well, even this is normalized in kpop bc they are "famous".
