I am guessing the one which had more sales by the end of October got chosen as the representative album for the artist since they only nominate 1 album per artist.
If I'm not wrong Enhypen's new album is selling more than the previous one.

Attacca pulled huge numbers in comparison to Your Choice, and is ahead of Your Choice in terms of sales overall as well, so the numbers argument doesn’t make sense nor does the involvement of Gaon.
Attacca had 1.7M sales in just 8 days, just before the 31st, plus their digitals are also a lot better than Your Choice this time around. It’s just very confusing why they would make such a dumb decision.

Under nominees they only listed Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. I guess Apple Music kinda spoiled Album of the Year.

Can't say I'm surprised, MAMA doesn't have the best track record with Seventeen so them screwing them over is pretty in character. Attacca blew YC out of the water in almost every way possible and is clearly the one to be nominated, how is it nominated for AOTY when it isn't even Seventeen's AOTY?? Make it make sense lmao

I was literally talking about this with someone. Mnet in general has been so against Seventeen ever since Heng:Garae Era. Every time Seventeen appears or does something with Mnet in general— Mnet just has to screw things up for them.
Like someone mentioned, for Mcountdown today, the broadcast points/ scores are decided by how many times Mnet plays their song on their channel— and for Seventeen it was so low. Mnet just really hates Seventeen for some unknown reason. Even when announcing the nominees they forget Seventeen for the Best Dance Performance. I bet they purposely screwed Seventeen for Album of The Year nominations as well.
