I am not mad as more confused as the nominees for the most part made no sense. Nominated some who've been inactive most of the year and then put Taeyeon in the dance category and not vocals when she has never been known as a dancer or considered such? Mnet is getting senile I swear

Be is a single tho(2songs no?), it won't count in gda if they go by their previous rules but I don't rmemeber if mama nominate singles (someone will have to check)

Nah pretty sure it is nominated. Mino's song Run Away was released on October 30, 2020 and is nominated in the hiphop category.

Yeah but this is MAMA and they love drama, that's why I'm a bit skeptical, it's the only category that BTS can't win if they don't nominate BE, so they might jump at the chance.

While, Butter single CD album released in 2021 is at 2.87mn physical sales which get points in SoTY.

Well then there is no reason for BE to not bag a nom being a late Nov release.
BE being nominated in MMA and GDA will also be interesting especially if its MMA and if they add Dynamite's digital points to the album

Good point, but I'm more inclined to believe that BE will be nominated given that MAMA seems intent on being more "credible" by removing fan votes and disqualifying BE from the list of nominees would no doubt do the opposite given that a song from Oct 2020 was nominated and a group which debuted later than BE's release is qualified for Rookie of the Year.

I think so too, it wouldn't be fair not to. We'll see how they play it out, but personally I wouldn't put it past mnet to pull something like that.
