Changed the title of the thread from “No proof of manipulation in Girls Planet 999 final results. Production team monitored final Universe votes and even with possible cases of voting abuse, the outcome still would have been the same.” to “It has been concluded that there's no proof of manipulation in Girls Planet 999 final results”.

Well, there was no manipulation from Mnet's side which is all that matters I guess

  • I mean you can tell by the results this is what the fans wanted. Mnet rigged in a more legal way by giving Koreans more voting power over the other i-fans AND they switched to one-pick votes so that's why there were some sudden drops for the finale.

Mnet influenced the winning group with edits and rules but I think some girls still overcame their attempts and made it

On one hand I'm interested too, but on another that would make it impossible for less popular trainees to ever catch up, even if they showed off their talents later off, were aces or even improved drastically, because fans would have to compensate for like 6 episodes and that's impossible.

but that also wouldn't make 'evil editing' cancel someones chances...

  • They only addressed fan manipulation. And they can say whatever they want.

They still do not explain how they went from votes to points. So any kind of mathemagic could've happened.

They only reported the complete voting data once, so we can't even check their math.
