with all these shot gun marriages and unexpected pregnancies in among kcelebs

Most of the shotgun weddings happen to people in their mid to late 20s though. I'm sure they know but shit happens 🤷🏾♀️

Condoms break, people forget to take their birth control, as Bender said in The Breakfast Club movie, "The world is an imperfect place, screws fall out all the time"...

But yeah Korea does seriously need to work on their sex education. (See the Infinite reality episode where they pretend to be pure idiots and are like "What are hormones?") Which is why I'm so excited that the K-drama "Adult Trainee" with (G)-IDLE's Miyeon is happening! It even features a main female character who's addicted to masturbation; a bold choice, even if it was for American television!

I read that South Korea's birth rate is actually going low so maybe that's why the government ain't really endorsing contraceptive that much.
I'm all for increasing the birth rate of the nation but I personally find that faulty, as in children could be born in families not ready for them and I worry about the effects psychologically as lots of children are born to unprepared families and I find it sad. Still, it will be interesting to see if this policy actually works out I guess.

*majority of ALL men

No, I think it's probably all good. I can't think of a teenage idol or newly debuted idol announcing a pregnancy. Pregnancy among female idols is rare. I think female idols are probably on long term birth control that also helps manage periods.
And I don't think Chen or Bobby had shotgun weddings. They were in long term relationships and wanted to make it official and not hide their new families.
There are probably plenty of illegitimate children of male idols/celebs in Korea (and other countries too). I read that the laws in Korea are weighted towards the father, add to that the stigma about being an unmarried mother it would keep a lot of women quiet.

It is very sad. Here in SEA you'll see a lot of kids in the streets in state of poverty. Truly sad. One time we pass by this slum like street and I saw this poor kid getting slap by a woman (probably her mother) and I can't help but to feel so sad for that kid, let alone their condition of living.

Weirdly they seem to hate paying child support too

Thats the thing
Alot of male idols have secret love children
Someone of them confess to having a family after their popularity has faded abit and just want to retire

Did these people personally come and tell you they didn’t want to get married or have a baby? How about de stigmatize idols getting married or having a baby.
These are not even like teen pregnancy. Grown ass men in their late 20s or 30s. Have you maybe considered they’re completely fine with it? And they made a choice to keep their family.
There are many options for celebrities from plan b or abortions or whatever.
This is probably the dumbest and most judgmental take I’ve seen yet on this topic. In fact it was so stupid I thought it was sarcasm. Is it? And I missed it?

You seem to have taken this as a personal attack on Chen
Nop, thats wasnt it
Getting married and having a family is never sth scandalous or negative to me

And those who seem to take responsibility are shunned by their stans. A weird take in kpop.

Yeah
Specially the way some fandom go after the women and reveal their private infos sigh

No it wasn’t because of Chen. Surprisingly. It’s because your take was extremely silly.
If at least a lot of teenagers were getting pregnant it would make sense.
Korea is a country that is suffering from high infertility. Contraceptive awareness seems to be the least of their problems. Like who even thinks that or says that. You say korea is really behind on this issue like as if they literally don’t have some of the lowest birth rates in the world. Like what made you even say this statement lol.
And you didn’t even consider that it can just be accidents in spite of contraception.
I’m not personally offended your take is just narrow minded.
