The way now a "viral" song is a joke... Unbelievable how people minds works...

Of course tiktok has helped a little by exposing it to another audience but it's not popular/successful solely because of tiktok, anyone can see that

I don't really view tiktok helping Money as derogatory. It's gone viral on there because it's catchy, in tune to modern tastes, and people are having fun dancing to it. Nothing wrong with that.

Funny how Every hater saying Thank you tiktok, thank you squid game! Like tiktok made the gp listen to the song on YouTube and Spotify. The song is rising everyday in different countries despite it being over a month old.

They wish their fave’s song got viral like Money.

So many artist try for this level of virality. Continuously doing dance challenges and promoting on tik tok but no one cares. Yes tik tok gave life to this song but it's increasing in streams because ppl r discovering and enjoying it everyday. Lisa didn't do anything for it. Obviously they r mad.

I agree with everyone on here. Why is Tiktok considered a bad thing? It's probably the best way to measure virality and organic success of a song. The biggest song of the year, Drivers License, blew up huge on Tiktok first, which got the attention of Spotify and the rest was history.

It's not just kpop stans who use "tiktok song" as derogatory term though I have seen that for a couple years now. It is stupid in itself no matter what, tiktok is just another platform to spread your music just like yt or spotify
