also everyone talking about STAYC...
so to make things clear Kakao acquired 40% of HIghUp shares 2 months after ASAP release... and song was already then charting around top 10 number on Melon, which means Kakao decided to invest in HighUp because STAYC was already doing very well
and if you talking about things like this you should consider that Weeekly debuted straight away under Kakao yet their record of sales is 31k in first week...
so yes Kakao is a conglomerate type of company but even if you think about Kakao Talk, Melon, and all other things this still won't give you good charting etc.
The Boyz also are under Kakao and it's not like they are charting on Melon.
So whole Kakao agenda is easy to debunk.
