BEAUTY BOX escaped the ''multinational group'' obstacle

Were the other groups really banned? I don't know about Z-Girls but I followed Prisma's debut a little and it was just bad. Like, amateur stuff. So I wouldn't be surprised music shows had not interest in booking them, foreign members or not.

Zgirls + Zboys sung only in English & weren’t really a Kpop group (they were considered a Zpop group)

For Prisma it was likely they just so happened to not be able to due to low funds & lack of connections

It would t be because they’re a mostly/all foreign group when Uniq, Mixx, etc had mostly foreigners while there were quite a few Cpop & Jpop groups that went on too

they already had groups like Dreamcatcher, ONF, fromis_9, The BOYZ, Weeekly and STAYC performing so... why not use it even more?

Agreed. Even nugu groups deserve to have the experience of a win, or even being nominated for one. So I’m all for it

They can't because they tape record the groups' performances days before the actual airing, unlike the other shows.

They do this as an exception, not as a rule. If it were to happen every week, music shows woudn't bother.

and like Uni909 mentioned here Arirang is already doing those CONTOUR events which are something between concert and music show, and boom this one in which Beauty Box will perform is on... monday :)

They do record on mondays, at least every other week when they do their CON-TOUR live shows. Then they use the same performances for their weekly Simply K-Pop airings. So their shows are a mix of performances recorded on different days; it's honestly a mess to track. I tried to do it when I was compiling all music show performances for a given song, chronologically sorted, but half the time I'm not even sure when the performances are actually recorded.
