I’m attached to blackpink’s music because it makes me feel empowered. Every time I feel down, or crappy, I automatically turn on a BP song and feel like the baddest bish in the world lmao-

But all jokes aside their music is just really something I can really connect to

because they do the hip hop oriented style of pop music really really well. And when they choose to do more standard pop it can be brilliant also ( Ice Cream can be ignored for purposes of this discussion).

And Yes, I do consider Teddy as the hidden member of BP.

for me it's also because they often seem like the "adults in the room" compared to other Kpop GG that seem obviously targeted toward pre-teens, or those groups that are using the traditional KPop GG girly voices that I can't stand. I'm not a kid; there is a reason why I like BP, Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher, 2NE1, and other such groups over the majority of Kpop GG I've listened to.

Their debut was strong and I called.myself a Blink right then and there. Maybe calling myself a fan was a hasty decision as all my actions towards them are at casual fan level at best. Their music has become.more Western, maybe to attract their growing Western listeners (but in all truth YG music has always have wider appeal in the West). Their music is not one masterpiece after the other but it's quite catchy and by Western standards works very well.

their signature music is that beatdrop thingy, and i like those songs... also, despite their small discography, most of the tracks are title-track worthy

I'm attached to bp as a whole that includes their music.

I think what first attrached be to BLACKPINK was the fact that in 2016 I was discovering K-pop and when I heard their songs, I felt It was fiting the western taste I had for music. I've always liked edm/hip-hop/trap based songs and the girls brought it to me, with quality.

Because their music puts me in a good mood,I feel good listening to their songs (especially when I go jogging) that's it

Their music got me into kpop. I would probably still not care about kpop if Blackpink would not exists. Their music is timeless and never get old. I can still listen to any of their song like it released yesterday.
