I'll applause if Aespa's first minis can match Red Velvet's quality

I take that as a No

how are you planning on "matching" their quality, they clearly have two completely different concepts

They will have different type of songs so you are setting yourself up for disappointment if you want their discography to be just like RV's. Its the same reason why people argue if its RV or F(x) that have the superior discography when both are two pretty different groups as well despite both have high quality music.

People compare Twice, RV, BPink discography all the time despite doing different styles

But does that say anything about the quality of their discography? It literally only tells what kind of music people prefer lol.

I stanned Red Velvet then but I can admit the Russian Roulette EP was a big dent in their discography
What? Russian Roulette is great. Like my second favorite Red mini. Lucky Girl, Fool, and Some Love are top tier

Oh, they definitely will match RV or even they can do better. I mean, they make more money now than RV when they debuted. I mean, RV not even make 50k in their debut album and Aespa will make maybe like 250k o 300k or more. And in the kpop more money means better producers. So yeah, im pretty sure Aespa will do better, in every area. You know, because in the end the music is made by SM.

Music quality is subjective to taste, something you hate, someone else might love and vice versa.
We are talking consensus here. A great majority will agree in terms of opinion
