I'm in need of inspiration to make a good cake. Exact measures are appreciated.

I think this is the recipe I used to use for a flourless chocolate cake. I put it in a square baking pan and cut them up like brownies to give to people. Everyone loves it esp when I add a bit of sea salt.

Trow random stuff in a bowl, bake
This is how I do it, because I'm too lazy to look at an actually recipe

it tastes okay to me
It tastes too artificial
Although sometimes it's better than the monstrosities I make

The cocoa powder basically acts like the flour. It's very dense and rich. The taste comes from the fact that it's mostly chocolate lmao

Then it's basically a brownie

this is the most simple one i have:
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
1 cup milk
1 table spoon white vinegar (to make your cake rise and became spongy and soft)
1 tea spoon vanilla extract
mix very very well, then add
3 cups of all purpose flour + 1 table spoon baking pouder
mix well again. you can put 3 quarters of the mix on your pan and add 1 table spoon cocoa powder to the remaining mix, mix it well then put it on top to ge a zebra like designs.

I like that, I never added vinegar to a cake before
But I wonder if I can switch oil for butter? I don't like the taste the first one leaves on the cake after baking

I don't know how that would work with the milk and whether you should substitute both the oil and milk with butter or leave the milk. I never tried this specific recipe with butter before, but maybe try it and see what happens.
BTW you can substitute the milk with a cup of yoghurt.
