This is straight up denying the Bts privilege and it’s hilarious. You guys have just denied BTS influence in the western markets something every kpop group is benefitting off.

you in no way talked about bts' influence on the western markets which is valid but not enough to explain that. As for denying BTS' privilege, who did that exactly, buying albums isn't buying one track or watching a MV so you can't write it off only as a privilege.
Also, Freeze and its tracks have been praised by many and (i'm going to give them that), Bighit and Republic went out with the US shops including popular ones like Target. It helps to get non moas buying the album but really the US fanbase worked so hard for that.

BTS Privilege is getting the exposure which txt definitely did get. Surely, armys will check out txt on Yt and Spotify, might even help streaming. However, they will never pay their money just to help "BTS's younger brothers". It's upto txt to make people their fans.

I don’t like the hypocrisy. Many fandoms/groups benefitted off others. BTS is helping Kpop expand. Joon even wrote a song for this txt album so I’d say that’s very good reason to support.

TXT fans bought their albums, part of who maybe ARMYs too. But their buying was dependent on whether they are a txt fan or not.
Second, Of course txt benefitted from BTS. There's no denying that. You could have said this as the reason instead of saying that ARMYs buy their albums. Because they don't.
As far as namjoon writing the title song, i don't think it has much affect for it to stay on the chart for so long.
Tell that to those who trended Txt disband when they won a trophy over Butter. Or those who commented on articles about TXT calling the members all sort of names just because it’s not a BTS news. Or those who got angry because txt members prepared a nice looking cake for Hyuka.
Lot of Army is against TXT, of course I’m not speaking of those who always comment congratulations when something good happens.
Army doesn’t support TXT the way you think. Rm helped out with the lyrics when Bang PD asked him. And even that got the comments of The song is only good because RM wrote the lyrics and it has nothing to do with TXT members singing.

for namjoon I think one possible benefit was probably the itunes sales the first week, we rarely have that many #1 for title tracks but otherwise it didn't have that much impact (except the excellence of Namjoon's words ofc)

Yeah, I doubt longevity wise it would change anything. Only solos would be dedicated for this stuff and bts solos don't really like txt💀💀

oh you bet well, it's the way they have the word on alarm like it's not written 4th gen. It's just a title, it's fun because Yj likes it but it's not ending anyone's world but their distorted one. They have taken bits of a video of him talking about it without any context and branded him as arrogant when although we're not besides them and certain of their personalities, everything we see of him shows the contrary.
They care about such little things it drives me crazy, their warped reality makes them more likely to hurt their favorite idol rather than support them (especially when bangtan members are quintessentially ot7 and close)
