Does anyone else feel like so much about CIX is way too high quality for their popularity level? I was so surprised about them not being popular bc they make music i thought international fans would really like e.g numb, movie star and cinema and even great bsides like what you wanted, rewind and change me that i-fans complain some groups lack in kpop.First off, their visuals are what I would expect from a big 4 company. I would argue that their discography is one of the best and most consistently high quality of any boy group. Again and again their music videos, concepts and choreos are phenomenal and seem pretty high budget. They arguably have the best vocalist, center, rapper and visuals of their generation (even if you disagree, you can't deny how impressive it is to have that much talent in such a small group). They just feel SO complete. Their vocal colours, discography, dance styles, visuals and overall vibe all feel very unique within their generation. (Plus they seem much manlier (lol) and mature than their peers without even doing these big manly concepts lol.)
But their popularity somehow doesn't match up? I almost wish they joined something like RTK because if the show was good for one thing, it was to bring more attention to some great underrated groups.
