why Agency only debut Boys band and Not girls band ?

  • Because Rock is predominantly male since the beginning. How many western female bands can you name? I can't name any. I can only name two co-ed bands: Evanescence and Paramore. There has been female-only bands, but they never reached the mainstream.

Even Japan, the land of modern rock, barely has any successful female bands. I can only name SCANDAL. And Ikimonogakari as a co-ed band. While there's been many more successful male bands.

Like xoxoshawol said the 80s had a decent amount, like vixen, girlschool, runaways, L7 etc. If we add punk bands like from the riot grrl movement in the 90s the number definitely increase. Sadly indeed these bands usually don't make as much noise as all male bands, especially after the year 2000 when solo female pop artists like Britney Spears and even Avril Lavigne started dominating and rock's popularity decreased and pop rock became more popular instead. I blame the bigwigs from music industry tbh, but we also have to notice that rock is not as popular as it used to be either, so if its difficult for all male bands to be noticed already then it's much worse for all female.

narcissistic, my god i love it

  • Completely unrelated to the topic but I've always wanted a k group or band to release rock songs with heavy drums and guitars similar to [Zombie by Cranberry or a lot of Linkin Park songs] Heart and Vixen.

  • I mean, they existed, but they never reached the same success as their male counterparts, did they?

JYPE is a company. They will debut what they think will be successful. They won't risk debuting a female band.
