Are Mods getting paid?

I don't think so, I don't know of many websites who pay mods. Maybe akorn compensation?

I remember that back when I was a gl for a game, I would get paid with in-game currency for writing reports. Those on higher positions would get paid with real money as well, I believe.

Mods rarely ever get paid at any forums, it's all usually a volunteer gig no matter how big a site is.

So it's basically getting paid on commission? The more sales, the more pay?

Just doesn't have a base pay.
