First week sales were like this

Depends on if they can hype fans up and how broke carats are. Caratland was literally a few wks ago and we are bombarded with content. In The Soop is later this month and we also got that rumor Seventeen Unit debut/comeback in September. At least they gave fans like almost 2 months warning to save up this time around. Hopefully they learn from Semicolon and Ready To Love era but we shall see.

hmm we've been getting merch after merch, magazines after more paid content, carats consensus is that we're broke, but still i think our fandom is still pretty rich lol, everything is getting sold out, and yc was just 2 months ago, i doubt it'll end up like semicolon bc we dont have a jap cb in between but i don't think it'll do 2M first week, prob 1.6/7 first week and slowly 2M is realistic cos full albums tend to sell better but like i said, carats have been srsly swamped with too many things, how am i suppose to wait until october for this...

also depends how desperate and capitalistic pledis wants to be lol i dont wanna give them ideas(iykyk)

Yeah it really depends on how broke carats are since the gap between RTL and the October comebacks is 4 months. In comparison RTL got an 8 months gap between that and Semicolon. Henggarae and Semicolon had a similar 4 months gap and carats were bled dry financially. (They had a Jp comeback in between Henggarae and Semicolon too and Caratland in between the gap). This yr Carats had Caratland earlier this month which means carats money on Caratland merch, the Dicon photobooks that come out later August 30th, and In The Soop (likely means merch as well) later this month are all happening. Not to mention we don't know about the rumor Seventeen Unit debut/comeback happening September either.

I’m just happy 127 and Seventeen can have a comeback near eachother, so we can finally put this whole fiasco to bed once and for all

also woozi should share some of his productivity with us lol, imagine working even during quarantine, he's so amazing....

I hope they do well. Your Choice was excellent, I am looking forward to the album. I hope its a full album.

They are practically at 1.5M on Hanteo with very small gap on Gaon. I won’t underestimate Seventeen’s selling power, and will say they will be able to do it eventually.

The news about renewal of contracts will definitely affect the sales positively I believe. I already see Kcarats posts on weverse aiming for 2M albums, the new updated melon chart is favorable to seventeen again, I actually believe RTL would have been much more successful if we didn't have a 2 week break in the middle of promotion. Also if this comeback is really a full album then I think Carats will definitely go all out. We manage to achieve higher sales for YC compare to Henggerae when it only has 3 ver vs. 4 ver. so if this full album has atleast 4 ver. close to 2M is possible.
