This is basically saying “Play it safe instead of doing something original”. There’s no room for growth or diversity, just do what you always done until it’s ready to repeat that another 5+ years from now. YGs boy groups have their broader concepts that differ from one another, meanwhile the girl groups continue to do girl crush
People would complain if a company kept debuting cute GGs with many members, cuz I know JYP would get criticized if they kept debuting Twice’s just because that’s their biggest hit group. So idk why YG should get a pass for doing it a 4 member girl crush group for a 4th time (actually Swi.T were 3, but still small with the same overall concept)

Like said above, naw. They gotta learn to do other things at some point and enter other demographics, especially at this point where everyone is doing what YG would’ve normally done anyway
Also Treasure is amazing and got some lovely bops, plus they sell better than their past male lablemates at this timeframe. And even then, female versions of those groups tend to do better anyway
If people can complain about companies debuting the same types of cutesy GGs back when it was hot, I don’t see why y’all give it a pass when they’re now all debuting 4-5 member girl crush groups. Double standards is too visible

Sounds more exciting then girl crush repeat. And let’s be real, that’s what y’all want. Y’all will say they don’t have to do girl crush just be hip hop like, as if that ain’t a basically the same thing :-D

treasure are more youthful but still with some yg flavor. I don't know why it would be a bad thing if they are treasure female counterpart. Do you mean in terms of promoting them?

im not worried about baemon, whatever they do will work out just fine since they're yg + bp's young sister group
im more worried that weeekly (who's dominating the market rn) will get pushed out of the scene

honestly they might play it safe since so many big companies are debuting GG this and another year. Trying new concept is big risk for them currently.

doubt it. I feel like is gonna be mainly focus in vocals and more like the velvet side of red velvet type of concept. Very soul/ R&B inspired
