The cute concept is practically dead right now because of the girl crush concept that was popularized by BLACKPINK.

But what Kpop companies don’t understand is that the reason why BP were able to become so popular was because of the over saturated cute concept every other girl group was doing. BP was different and that immediately drew everyone to them. And now girl crush is becoming over saturated. If I were jyp or sm I would debut a girl group with a cute concept immediately and all it would take is one huge hit and they will become the next nations girl group.

Who knows maybe the YGNGG will do cute/innocent concepts considering they have "Baby" in their name and to be distinct from BP. Although, they need a Yuju/Wendy/Taeyeon vocal to pull that off which YG is not really a fan of.
