Go to stores who either do a big sale at the moment or are having only stuff on sale (as for example T.K.Maxx is such a store I like)
And you see what I mean when I tell you whats in my closet...
- Superdry backpack 39,99€ instead of 59,99€
- Superdry t-shirt 9€ instead of 21€
- Superdry t-shirt 21€ instead of 30€
- Superdry t-shirt 24€ instead of 34€
- Nike airforce 1 60€ insted of 90€
- Juicy Couture handbag 30€ instead of 90€
- A handbag who's brandtag is allready worn off so I don't know what brand but it was 18€ instead of 70€
- Fila hoodie 26,99€ instead of 52,99€
- Puma sneakers 39,99€ instead if 59,99€
- DKNY cardigan 39,99€ instead of 99,99€
- DISEL hoodie 35€ instead of 120€
- Reebook sneaker 59,99€ instead of 79,99€
You can combine it to look like if you got "THE MONEY" even if you don't actually have it and nobody will ever know how broke you actually are cause you are stacked with those brandnames and if your other fashion items from cheap brands don't look too bad it might also wears well if you only have like 1 or 2 brand-items and combine it around what your cheap stuff looks like and especially since these days many cheap brands look bomb many people won't even notice that you as example put a 100 bucks hoodie (that you might bought on sale) with clothes who are like 10 bucks
Same works well with makeup if you really want brand items. If stores have sales its so good to get stuff when its cheaper. Some stores in my area for example sometimes hang a sign as for example "25% off of all mascara, eyeliner and concealer from 09.08 - 12.08" and that also saves a lot allready and more if some item might allready got a discount-sign
