In my country GP means General Practitioner aka doctor. Usually we use the term "go see doctor" instead of "GP" but I use it sometimes in work.
Another meaning of "GP" is General Paper, aka one of the exams for our A Levels.
I mean considering how everyone is obsessed with GP in this forum I suppose in your country GP also means general public right? Or else y'all won't be waving this term around all the time.
