For the same reason she got selected by Riot to be part of their releases. Talent. SM and JYP worked decades with talent, they know it when they see one. There is no reason to be impeded with company policies. Also I think small companies are more lenient in terms of collabs with big4. If she was part of a big4 group, I kinda doubt this multi-company collab would be happening tbh.

So basically she get a free pass at Cube, SM, Riot, MNET, and JYP. Do you guys get the feeling she will be one of the most productive female producer when she no longer an idol?

She does it almost by herself with minimal help from others, you dont see 5 other producers or songwriters on her hit songs.

You’re right. She definitely leading in writing/composing/producing in 4th gen. She did mention in her vlive she likes to work with only one other producer for each track. She seems like a quick learner and absorbs as much as she can from each producer ( Houdini, yummy tone, collapsdone, poptime, and etc) cuz she getting better with each release.. can’t believe she is only 22 years old..

Ideally a standalone sub division with enough freedom and finances to create what she envisions. Sub division would allow her to more easily work with both inside and outside producers vs the main.
Soo who has the financials and trust in self produced artists to go for it.. BH-JSY or SM given pas relationship..

It’s hard to say but I feel it’s not a good fit with YG and The Black Label given Teddy is already there. He has his own vision in terms of music and concepts based on bp doc on Netflix. It’s like having to alphas in the same division - saying goes “if you have two alpha/boss/chef in kitchen then u really have none.”
