This is worse than Idol School || ;(

  • It was coincidental with an anticipated Olympic match, Olympic women's volleyball semi-final match between Brazil and South Korea, one of whose roster was an international star Kim Yeon Koung.

  • We'll have to see from next week, since this episode coincided with the Brazil vs Korea volleyball semi-final.

Anyway, it'll be difficult for survival shows to top Produce ratings-wise. Instead of having that as a benchmark, fans should be happy if the show reaches 1%

  • Neah, I don't think that the Olympics and 999 have the same target audience, so that's not the cause. It's just that people aren't dumb forever and we all are tired of the rigged shows that MNET produced. There is no point to invest in people with talent that will never debut, because well,,, most probably the group members are already decided. They don't even bother to hide it, and soon will start to give more screen time to those.

  • People gonna have to realize soon that almost no survival show will get Produce numbers (initially), not even a show that seems similar. Doesn’t mean it’s an automatic flop tho

With that said, the videos get high views, it trended on sites, and it seems like a lot of people be voting, so interest is def there

  • Like I said before and ifans said I’m bullshitting, kpop is dying in Korea

They are going for China not just for money but for survival

This is true but to some extent. Have to take in account that this is Mnet we’re talking about. Their reputation is fcking over in Korea due to rigging the previous pd series. Anti Chinese sentiment is on the rise in Korea and I bet knetz found out that there was Chinese money backing in the show like how they found out which Chinese contestants were anti US aid. Snake Mnet combined with anti Chinese sentiment equals a low viewed show.

  • Japanese are watching on Abema

    Chinese are watching on IQIYI

International fans are watching on Youtube

    no worries :)

  • I mean I know it’s doing well internationally but I’m more concerned on the korean popularity on the show

it honestly doesn't matter anymore love

what we've learned recently is that when middle and high schoolers like something they just like it and don't care about anything else

which means when performances will start to blow up on youtube Korea will also be sealed :)
