Who knows, for butter release they just said that it will be "included in the upcoming album" and then they released butter CD album. So I think they won't include it in the next full album. I have a feeling they want to start on a clean slate, completely afresh for a new era.

I hope they do because it will represent whole era's success. But it is their call, whether they use these 2 songs as independent releases or part of whole era

I think so too. I think that's why they released the Butter physical single kpop style. It's been theorized that the next album might be "Fear" themed and I have a hard time seeing how Butter and PTD fit in.
I think Butter single serves as a closure for their covid era, it would be grouped with BE. LGO to PTD goes together thematically to me. Next we will get something entirely new.
