Hmmmm... i've seen this happen with ateez's sales before. It normally happens when the comeback is extremely close to the end of the month.... so it happening when they had their cb in somewhat mid-june is weird to me.

i think if the fanbase wasnt milked beforehand 2m was possible.

after seeing everything that was getting sold before the comeback, a huge change in sales for sure wasnt happening.

They had 1.37M on June 30th.....

but i do find it weird that its still only a 20k gap

We have like 200k sales on oricon already, n oricon doesnt count towards hanteo but counts to gaon(if I didn’t understand wrongly), so i expected at least 200k more on gaon than hanteo

(btw your choice had more than 100k first week sales in oricon so at least that should be counted, first week was 18th to 25th June)

They have their us sales also, which would technically count to gaon bc it’s considered shipped albums

i was thinking that maybe it’ll be counted next month but makes no sense either bc those albums on oricon n billboard are sold already so why won’t it count??

It's indeed weird. I have seen only few big sellers having that small difference between gaon and hanteo. Ateez and nct dream last year, but these two don't have distribution in the US or big japanese sales, so I think we need an explanation here

I think the Gaon is for retail album chart only. The main chart hasn't come out yet.

idk album sales to detail but can this be because they released too late into the month? and also had a recent release. We probably have to wait until next month
