I'm surprised that Twice's numbers were that low... weren't their preorders way above 500 K? Maybe it's based on when the albums are shipped?

Also congrats on Loona.. those numbers are pretty good.

These are Hanteo numbers. TWICE always has a huge jump with Gaon numbers.

HANTEO Sales numbers are from customers that have bought albums through one of the HANTEO registered world wide Stores.

Gaon Sales numbers are Gaon registered Korean Distributors sell to Retailers, for the big companies, it is unlikely that their Foreign Distributors (mainly American and Japanese) have been registered.

Pre-Orders are usually quoted are from Sales to Retailers

Thanks for the explanation. So the pre-order album I got for twice through amazon is likely not included on Hanteo sales.

From what I know, Amazon Sales are recorded by HANTEO, GAON is less certain due to which Distributor JYPE used

Well, a certain Senior Singer of KPop reportedly sold 278k at first week, higher than Twice, so shouldn't the Senior Singer be here too?

On the list, four 4th gen groups and only one 3rd Gen group.

Look at the increase in sales from July 2021 to February 2024.

Is like a 6X increase.
