i take genesis seriously because the bible is God’s word
How do you know that?
i take genesis seriously because the bible is God’s word
How do you know that?
i know that because i believe in God
You're not answering my question though. Other people believe in God yet they don't believe in the Bible.
So, my question is: how do you know the Bible is God's word?
yea i know that
when was the last time we “evolved”?
Did you look at the link I provided?
We are constantly changing as a species. That's the nature of genetics.
its a matter of faith
i have faith and i know it is God’s word
Ok, so you believe in God just like others believe in fairies, leprechauns, yokai and such. It's just as baseless, I understand. No problem. But why are you trying to talk about science then? Faith and science don't mesh well.
You could say that lactase persistence (ability to digest lactose in adulthood) is a recent human evolutionary trait (10,000 years ago). It's present in 35% of the human population, but in 80% of Northern Europeans (the probable origin of this trait).

Did she already apologies and say she don't wanna argue about this

i dont wanna argue so im sry
lets just move on
im sry for calling it bs
ig you can say i cant argue with facts but im gonna believe what i want to believe regardless
Please don't fight on this is a really complicate topic
One is backed with evidence and other is just wishful thinking… that’s why.
Now answering OP. Because conspiracy "theories" are backed by "dude trust me". While evolution has scientific evidence.

That’s not true. Many scientists are believers themselves… even our beloved Einstein believed science without religion is lame and religion without science is blind.
A quote that I think is pretty helpful
QuoteI am convinced that evolution and religious beliefs need not be in contradiction. Indeed, if science and religion are properly understood, they cannot be in contradiction because they concern different matters. Science and religion are like two different windows for looking at the world. The two windows look at the same world, but they show different aspects of that world. Science concerns the processes that account for the natural world: how planets move, the composition of matter and the atmosphere, the origin and adaptations of organisms. Religion concerns the meaning and purpose of the world and of human life, the proper relation of people to the Creator and to each other, the moral values that inspire and govern people’s lives. Apparent contradictions only emerge when either the science or the beliefs, or often both, trespass their own boundaries and wrongfully encroach upon one another’s subject matter.

I think only a few of them abide to a particular holy book though.

🤷🏽♀️
How do you know that?
It's a belief, the same way you believe theory of evolution is real
if you don't believe in evolution, then it wouldn't make sense for you to get vaccines or take medicine.
This doesn't make sense, evolution is about belief, vaccine and medicine is science

By this statement, I know you never study about religion, or science. You only study either one
Funny huh, how it goes from theory of evolution to religion. It is either science related to religion or both are religion
I just realized this thread is very weird. I'm comparing theories, one is "science", one is not science but not an anti science. Conspiracy is not an anti science, it is unrelated to science and doesn't need to oppose science. Just like religion - science relationship. Thank you for coming guys
Because one is not backed by evidence, no matter how much you try to spin it.
The people who spread conspiracy theories don't even know what the "scientific method" is.
