That's a weird rumor plus all the members have contracts with sm entertainment so leaving wouldn't be possible plus the backlash would be harsh to Leave your group/ company for a rival one. Plus business wise it has to be worth it like will hybe offer you better promos,solos etc will they buy all your stuff you worked on under sm to ensure you retain royalties/credits etc. Now this would make better sense if hybe took exo from sm
