We haven't heard anything about an album. What if they're not even planning on a new album, with singles preceding it, until Coachella? Do you think that would be a good or bad strategy? Lisa gets her solo in the next month. We get a BP single. And maybe Jisoo gets her solo as well. Then the beginning of next year is all about the lead up to the next album done in the same way as The Album. I don't love the idea, but I'm starting to get the feeling that's what's gonna happen. Obviously I'd still be happy to get new songs.

The rumors were that they were gonna perform with Lady Gaga at Coachella with Sour Candy. And The Album was gonna drop around that time. With things opening up here in the states, I can see Coachella launching again by next year. So if that's the case, there's a chance BP can go through with their original plan last year.

YG doesn't like releasing back to back albums tho
They space them out to the max, we still didn't get Lisa solo so for YG to release Lisa solo then jisoo solo them bp album within 7 months would be... Unlikely imo

No I think they will announce a new list early January rather than using the ones from 2020

If there was an exception, it should be BLACKPINK. But I'm getting more and more confident that we're not getting an album this year. It really is looking like solos and singles.
