Seventeen [Your Choice] Album Review....

HYPE is real

This is the fastest album review I have done based on its release date....and it will be much harder for SVT to impress me since this will probably my final thoughts.... I will be thoroughly surprised if they manage to impress me....

Going in........

1. Heaven's Cloud

The rhythm is messing up my mind.... It's so good. Can we just appreciate SVT for picking the best instruments in their songs? Production always impresses me.

Vocals are fantastic. I am digging the vibe. Excellent intro for the album.

That wobbly synth is probably my favorite. The ambience during Vernon's verse is nice, Reminds me of Lie Again...

Those harmonies are so good. Chorus is weirdly satisfying.

Rating :- 9/10

2. Ready To Love

Unexpected vibe for title track. I am enjoying it so far.....

Great instrumentation as always. Chorus dips in energy and momentum but two part chorus gains some lost energy.

As for Raps, I find them appropriate and well fitting with the rest of the song.

I don't know why this song reminds me of OneRepublic.

Great title track....

3. Anyone

Interesting intro. That GUITAR THO!!!!!!

WOW.... I like it very much.

I must say, I don't vibe with the autotuned rap part at 1:00....

Rest of the song is awesome....

This song is ANGSTY....

There are no standout parts but as a whole, This thing slaps.

Rating :- 8.75/10

4. GAM3 BO1

As much as I like the idea of the sonh and instrumentation,

This song feels flat even though it has so much personality.....

The glitch/stutter throughout song is annoying, I must say...

Also, The extended repetiting "Game Game Game" is the downfall of the song.

Rating :- 4/10 (For the rappers, For the Instrumental only)

5. Wave

Feels old-school somehow....

Few hints of Synthwave influence....

I am liking this weird structure and approach to the song. That bass guitar is doing its job well.

This song might be the most interesting song I have heard in a while.

Gives me Daft Punk x MJ vibes...

I am feeling a lot of House/Techno influence...

A for the effort. Nailed it.

Rating :- 9.5/10

6. Same dream, same mind, same night

Oh this is 90's R&B vibe..... Right up my alley..

Those harmonies at the start reminds me of "Leave the door open" by Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak

Bruh... So many little details in the song. Woah, I am speechless.

The thing is lacking something :- As good and pristine as it is, It's not catchy... You will hardly remember it after hearing it even after multiple times.

Seungkwan, You are one of the best vocalists in KPOP.....

Fantastic choice for outro...

Conclusion :-

SVT DID NOT COME TO PLAY. They came for blood.

Fantastic album. Right up there with "Don't Fight the Feeling" by EXO....

I am THOROUGHLY impressed by SVT. This is way better than Semicolon and Heng:garae combined...

Final rating :- 80.41%

Cheers everyone. SVT made my day better. This album is the one I will playing a lot this year, I just know it.

I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't too high on Semicolon or Heng:Garae but this album is one of the best.... It's not even been 3 hours.... That tells a lot about it's quality....

I'll give it 9/10. It's my favorite song only after heaven's cloud!!

I like the idea and concept behind it.

Glitches and repetitive "Game Game" brought the rating down by a mile....

A great album, but I'm sad that my least favorite track is the one of the hip hop unit. My two biases are in that unit
